Testing
the slave’s stamina
|
For a few days We have our new stableboy or
at least We have made our choice. After thorough testing, we decided on P. I still doubted him, but Myriam convinced Me
since She had him in Her house (part of the test) for a full week (24/7).
Having worked in a manege for years, his knowledge of horses and how to look
after them is no problem to him. The only issue remaining seem to be his
capacities as a ponyboy. We made it clear from the beginning to him that he’d
be used as our ponyslave as well and would have to carry us for more than an
hour! Since he is rather skinny and no athlete, this still is a working point.
Therefore I have started training him to increase his stamina. Later We will
work on his power and strength.
As we do not have horses yet in the stables
(holidays is always a bad time to get new horses). In the mean time, I use him
as gardener and beast of burden for all kinds of tasks around.

He is enjoying his situation certainly very much but is a “pony” like this not too expensive?
