Chasing servant frank
|
After more than a year I had ordered My
servant-slave frank to join Me and My Friend Myriam on Our ride on Sunday.
When I had asked him how he had
"survived" the corona-crisis, he had told Me that he had been jogging
a lot, to train his stamina. because of that, I had already a plan in My mind
to test it and have fun doing so.
Therefore, I had called him and ordered him
to meet Us in a riding centre in the East of Belgium. "Better bring your
running shoes" I had playfully added.
When I met him after more than a year, he
seemed very excited and wanted to kiss My boot in public. Although not near the
place where I live, I still told him not to do so since I did not want to have
bystanders make a picture with their smartphone (today everyone has a
smartphone with decent camera!).
I also knew that I would have him kiss and
tongue-clean My boots later on more than enough. At first he simply had to walk
behind Us and carry our refreshments.
When We reached a small open and remote
spot in the woods, We stopped and with the aid of My hunting whip, I signaled
him that his service was needed.
More specific, he had to pour out Our
drinks and offer them. As soon as We had our glasses, We raised Our glass and
enjoyed the drinks while servant frank had to kiss Our boots.
When finished I just threw away the glass
in the bushes. frank immediately ran to collect it and had to hurry to pick up
Myriam's glass since she just gestured to drop it beside her horse and he knew
that he'd be blamed if the glass fell and would break. he knew it would yield
him a rain of our whips! But luckily for him he was back in time to take
Myriam's glass without breaking it.
Anyway, he got a taste of My hunting whip
for slacking… and I had him excuse himself to Myriam by kissing her boot and
offering his hands to her crop for a punishment. Of course My friend accepted
the "offer" with joy.
After that, I ordered him to show his
stamina and start running in front of Us. I told him that We'd control his
speed since it would be forbidden for him to have Us pass him! That of course
completely depended on Us since he could never outrun Our horses if We wanted
that.
However, We did not urge the horses in a
gallop since We enjoyed speeding up frank by threatening him and snapping Our
whips in the air. At first it took great riding skills to get our horses calm
and get them accustomed to the sound, but when they realized after a few
minutes that the cracks were not for them, they calmed down. Myriam's horse
reared up several times, but being an excellent horsewoman, she managed to ease
her horse as well.
So after about five to ten minutes We could
start Our "fun run" because indeed, that was it, at least for Us in
the saddle. For more than fifteen minutes, frank ran in front of Us while we
trotted most of the time, now and then even starting a light gallop to tease
and urge him and increase his speed. Of course also Our whips made it clear to
him that We did not accept slowing down.
After these fifteen minutes, We stopped
"for the horses to have a rest" I had explained and at the same time
ordered frank to keep running in circles around Us. Now and then ordering him
to run towards Us and kiss Our boots and immediately run further in circles
again. We told him several times that this was only to allow him to show that
his training during covid had been no waste of time. In the mean time, We
enjoyed Ourselves caressing each other.
When he had been running around for another
ten minutes or so, frank had to offer himself as a footstep on all fours to
make Us mount easy.
For the next half hour or so, frank was
running in front of Us while We waved and cracked Our whips to speed him up.
Then, We had a last stop "for a
boot-cleaning break" I declared and We had frank tongue-clean the soles of
Our boots since "I suspect that they might be dusty…" I had explained
jokingly.
After this, he was allowed again to walk
(and sometimes run) for the last fifteen minutes or so as We came again closer
to the stables where we left.
Since it was not that late, I invited frank
in the bar of the stables for a kind of debriefing and have a face-to-face talk
with him. Something I had not done for more than a year with him!
It was a first riding trip "with
appropriate service" I had for more than a year and I hope that many will
follow and that we don't get into any form of lockdown again.
